Agenda:
9:00 - 10:00 Welcome, sign-in, and book recommendations. Coffee, tea and bagels will be served.
10:00 - 12:00 EduProtocols, Lesson Frames & Integrating Technology
Barbara DeSantis will review EduProtocols’ Lesson Frames as a tool for collaboration and instruction. Explore a variety of easy to implement strategies for assessment, citing evidence, questioning, and a variety of other skills. There are many strategies to choose from and something for every age and content area.
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch, business meeting & selection of Enthusiastic Readers
We will eat lunch as we discuss HCLA matters and coordinate this year’s ER winners.
12:30-1:00 The latest from Hunterdon County Library
Maryjean Riou will share the latest news on HCL’s headquarters renovations and programming.
1:00 - 2:00 Martha Hickson, North Hunterdon Regional High School
Nationally recognized media specialist Martha Hickson will review her presentation, Book Banning: Hints from Hindsight, and share the most effective processes and policies in confronting book challenges.
2:00 - 3:00 Grade Level Library Articulation – Elementary, Middle & HS
Librarians from around the county will share ideas concerning best practices in teacher collaboration, collection development and defense, and instruction.
Workshop fee: $75.00
